
Cynthia Erich, MS, served the U.S. Department of Justice as a senior policy advisor for 21 years, focusing on child protection, juvenile justice, and human trafficking victim services. Her work included leading national-level grant programs, developing multidisciplinary training curricula, and managing large-scale technical assistance initiatives.
Across her DOJ career, she supported major national offices including the Office for Victims of Crime, the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention, and the Office on Community Oriented Policing Services. Her experience brings a strong standards-based, systems-level perspective to youth safety and response.
Ms. Erich earned her Master’s of Forensic Sciences from George Washington University, where she also served as a University Police Officer. She holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Administration of Justice from Pennsylvania State University.
